Hsiao Solo Project is an ongoing collaborative initiative between percussionist Hsiao-Tung Yuan and composers/sound artists. Its aim is twofold: to contribute to the wider repertoire of contemporary percussion, and to deepen Yuan’s exploration of identity as a solo artist. By inviting composers to engage directly with her practice, each collaboration becomes an experiment in redefining the boundaries of percussion performance.
